The FAMAG IM 5-S spiral dough mixer with electric single-phase engine and 10 speeds is the perfect machine for mixing several different types of dough, especially soft ones – e.g. bread, pizza, cakes, flat bread (piadina) and so on.

This machine is especially suitable for professional catering, delis, pizzerias and for all those businesses who need to process small quantities of dough at a time.

The great innovation of this mixer is that it is suitable for HIGH HYDRATION, which is perfect for those who need very highly hydrated dough, e.g. 80-90-95%, while with other models dough can only reach 75%.

The spiral can be run on reverse in order to mix pre-ferments and poolish, and can reach up to 300 rpm thanks to its boosted inverter.

This machine is equipped with automatic locking system that stops the machine functioning when the stainless steel grid is lifted during the use.

The transmission belt provides resistance and long-lasting durability.

The components that come in direct contact with the dough are made of stainless steel. The painting is electrostatic with food-grade epoxy powder.
